The Franconia Housing Advocates will be using the Simpson Room to make videos to support affordable housing in Fairfax County. 

If you want to attend the open house on February 8, please register to submit your video testimony ahead of time using the Planning Commission speaker form https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/planningcommission/speaker  (use the date February 12, Application number SSPA 2023-IV-2S/PA-2023-00006) and the Board of Supervisors speaker form https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/bosclerk/speakers-form (use the date March 18, Application number SSPA 2023-IV-2S/PA-2023-00006). This will help ensure we can submit your video testimony to the County websites on the 8th.

Fairfax County is scheduled to relocate the Franconia Governmental Center at 6121 Franconia Road to a new facility in Kingstowne in 2025. Once the new Franconia Governmental Center is completed, Fairfax County proposes converting the old property for rental housing for working families.
